2019-20 Confluence Series

Community - Collaboration - Conversation

The city of Denver began at the confluence of Cherry Creek and the South Platte River. BCOC's new series explores the confluence of different art forms... and celebrates our unique and diverse Denver community.

Concerts

Singular Voices

The solo (unaccompanied) music of Bach and his circle explore intimate emotional contours that can't be expressed through music for multiple instruments. We invite three different collaborating artists to interpret music of J.S. Bach, Telemann and Abel in their own artistic "voice." Featuring BCOC musicians Stacey Brady, violin; Linda Lunbeck, recorder; Sarah Biber, viola da gamba and cello, plus photographer Joseph Gaines, (Supernal Geography), theater-maker Erin Rollman (Buntport Theater), and poet Juan Morales.

All performance dates in April and May 2020 have been canceled. We will keep you updated as the situation allows.

*Note: Confluence concerts are not included in BCOC season subscriptions. For information on our 2019-20 Masterworks Series, see our Masterworks page.
